Membership

Membership in RPBO is available to all interested individuals. Our membership numbers play a major role in our ability to qualify for grant funding. All volunteers at the Rocky Point site and on other public lands are expected to become RPBO members. The majority of the membership fee goes to purchase insurance required for our operations.

Membership categories and costs: family $25, individual $20, and student $15. All Memberships expire on December 31 each year.

Membership entitles an individual to:

• Receive a tax deductible receipt for the cost of membership
  
• Participate as a volunteer in RPBO programs (subject to program needs and demonstrated skill).
  
• Receive training from other RPBO staff and members.
  
• Attend and vote at the RPBO Annual General Meeting.
  
• Receive a membership card with each renewal.
  
• Receive a copy of the Annual Report and other publications.
