Volunteer Application
RPBO Volunteer Application Form
Volunteering at a bird monitoring station is fun, but most importantly, we are there to collect important information for bird conservation. This means that we must follow a standardized protocol for each of our projects.
Protocols govern start and end times, observation periods, types of equipment used, and data requirements, among many other things. We strongly encourage you to read the appropriate protocol before you begin volunteering for RPBO, and then again at least once during each project season. If you are volunteering for more than one project, it's quite easy to forget which procedure applies to which project.
Remember, you must be a member to volunteer at the bird monitoring stations.
If you'd like to find out about other areas where RPBO could use your skills (Education, Outreach Events, Operations), please contact our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@rpbo.org. You might be surprised how your diverse or unique skill set could be helpful!
Already a member? Great! Let's get you started by filling out the form below so we can get to know you and what you'd like to volunteer for.
