World Migratory Bird Day

World Migratory Bird Day is an annual, international event that focuses on bird migration and conservation. Rocky Point Bird Observatory has partnered with the Victoria Natural History Society and CRD Parks to bring this event to Victoria since 2010.

WMBD is held at Elk/Beaver Lake Park in Saanich and is filled with fun activities for people of all ages.

Events include guided walks, presentations, touch tables, banding demonstrations and many other interesting activities offered throughout the day. Come to the Nature House (off Beaver Lake parking lot) to enjoy the activities.
