HONOURARY PATRON of RPBO - Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia

The Honourable Janet Austin was sworn in as the 30th Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia in 2018, and served until 2025.

RPBO was delighted to discover that she was an avid birder!  She joined RPBO volunteers on several occasions to seek out interesting birds, and to learn more about our migration monitoring programs.

Rocky Point Bird Observatory was honoured with the patronage under Janet Austin. We were grateful for her continued support and enthusiasm for our work.  Thank you!
